This suitable for even the youngest child, including babies. All the paints are non-toxic and washable, and once glazed and fired, all the items are completely food safe. They make a cherished keepsake, or wonderful gifts for grandparents or any other relatives and friends. The process is very simple and quick, but unique and effective.

On a pre-arranged date we visit your nursery to paint the childrens's hand/footprints a selection of pottery items. We usually offer a selection upto 4 different types of items, including coasters, mugs, flowerpots, plates, photoframes and Christmas baubles.  We discuss the selection and costs when you make a booking. 

The sessions usually take a couple of hours, and all we need is a small area with a table and some chairs, and access to water.  We have found that the mornings are best, to fit in with sleeps and mealtimes.

After the session at the nursery our "plate painters" then hand paint the childs name, date and any message on the items.  All pottery is glazed and fired, making all the paint permanent and food safe.  All the items are returned to the nursery no more than two weeks later, all packed individually for easy distribution to the parents.
